Rustic Aged

GRAINEL Rustic Aged is a timelessly elegant thermo-spruce wall panel that combines the beauty of natural wood, handcrafted finishing, and the look of dignified aging. Part of the Rustic series, it is created for interiors where authentic materials and distinctive design are valued. The panels are made from spruce thermally treated at 160–180 °C. Thanks to the lower thermal treatment temperature, the wood retains more of its natural lightness than standard higher-temperature thermowood, resulting in a balanced material where natural wood beauty meets the stability typical of thermowood. The surface is hewn, leaving characteristic axe marks that emphasize the handcrafted nature of the wood. Deep wire brushing reveals annual rings, grain, and relief texture, adding depth and natural character. Rustic Aged is finished in grey tones that create the appearance of beautifully aged timber. The interplay of grey nuances and natural wood structure gives the wall a calm, elegant, and timeless appearance suited to modern, Scandinavian, and rustic interiors alike.
